72 Hours
Here
is how my battle in freedom was won. I went to bed at 9pm
without planning to be free. The next day I awoke at 7am. I was
10 hours free. If only I could make the long drive into
town, I would be 12 hours free. I did not. But I made it another hour,
so I was 11 hours free that day. Next day, I tried the same thing. This
time I made the trip free. So, I was 12 hours free. I thought, if
I can be free the next hour, I will be 13 hours free. I was in class,
so that was easy. I made it. Between classes I went on the internet and
found others who seek freedom. For 10 minutes I wondered about. Then, I was in class
for another 1 hour and could be free. I was then 14 hours free. I
returned between classes to others on internet who seek freedom for 10 minutes. Then, before the
day was over, I was 16 hours free. The 2 hour ride back home was easy.
Then, I started reading these writings of love and sharing. I got
lost in the computer before I realized that I was 24 hours free. I
called my best friends, Dancing flower and Big Soldier. We
celebrated with good wishes and feelings.
I went to bed, looking
forward to starting the day 32 hours free. The second and third day
started and ended the same.
